According to reporters of the website, at 9 a.m. in the morning of August 31, the School convened the first online teaching affair meeting of the new term using the conference platform offered by Tencent. The theme of the meeting is teaching affairs in the new term. The meeting is presided by Huang Jinping, the teacher in charge of teaching affairs of the School. Attendees of the meeting include Party Committee Secretary of the School and all full-time teachers with the School.

First, Teacher Huang communicated the teaching policies of the University found in relevant documents; stressed the importance of regular pandemic control and “pandemic education” at the beginning of the new term; and urged all interested parties to work in a concerted manner to safeguard teaching activities. Then the teaching plan for the new term was presented. Key tasks of the new term include application for and development of provincial first-class disciplines, golden course development, etc.

Lastly, Zhang Jianghong, Party Committee Secretary of the School put forward requirements for the new term: Firstly, all the full-time teachers shall whole-heartedly embrace teaching activities of the new term; provide students with psychological counselling as necessary and implement relevant safety measures. Secondly, reinforce ideological education. Full-time teachers shall use class hours to communicate the pandemic-fighting spirit and help the students develop moral identity and cultural confidence.
