On December 24th in the afternoon, just after the winter solstice, cold wind was blowing outside, but the hall on the second floor of the school's international academic exchanges center was as warm as spring and permeated with joy and a festive atmosphere. In Celebration of the traditional western holiday -- Christmas, the university held a Christmas sodality for all the foreign teachers in HUBE. Vice president He Huigang made an opening speech. This sodality was organized by International Exchange & Cooperation Department, Youth League Committee, School of International Education and School of Foreign Languages, and it highlighted the theme of friendship and happiness, progress and development through performances and games, and has brought festival memories and hopes for the New Year.

At the sodality, He Huigang expressed to all foreign teachers the festive greetings and thanks for their hard-work. He wished them to continue to happily work and stay in HBUE in the coming new year, and gave then Christmas gifts. People enjoyed performances such as instrumental ensemble, singing, dancing, magic show, etc brought by talented students and both Chinese and Western elements performances received a big applause from the audience, and an interesting and interactive game at the end brought even more laughter and joy.

In addition, foreign teachers in our school were also invited to attend to 2015 Hubei Foreign Experts’ Christmas and New Year Concert that was held by Hubei Foreign Affairs Office.
